How To Check The Recommended Text Length For Your Webpage Content

(This is the transcript from our new video so it may not read as well as a normal blog post would)

Hi, I’m Stacey, content marketing executive at Koozai and this video is going to talk you through how to find the recommended text length for a piece of content you are looking to create. So the first thing you need to do is log into SEMrush and go to the SEO Toolkit at the top and then click on SEO Content Template down the left-hand navigation. You then need to enter the keyword that you intend to focus on for your particular page. For example, if you’re planning on writing some new content about iced wedding cakes, you pop this keyword into the target keyword bar here and just choose the country that you want to focus on. You then click on Create SEO Template. Once the data’s loaded, you’ll see a page, which looks like this. And some key recommendations based on this keyword that you’ve entered. So what you can do is have a look at these key recommendations and use these to inform your content. And at the bottom here, we’ll see a recommended text length. So this figure’s not always possible depending on your topic, however, if you are able to create enough relevant content to come close to this figure or even exceed it, then you’re onto a winner. Thanks for listening.
